My first true solo album of original music. I wrote this album in 2016-2017 but didn't get around to properly recording the album until years later. I had tried unsuccessfully to get these songs out there with different bands until finally deciding to do things on my own. My plan was to record the whole album myself, but then an old friend, Jamey Schiesswohl, came on board with drumming that perfectly fit the music. Soon enough, we were recording the album and playing shows, which led to the beginning of The Evan Furillo Project.

About

Hello!  I'm Evan Furillo and I'm a musician from Northeast Ohio.  

I have a three-piece band called The Evan Furillo Project, which plays blues/rock/jazz/psychedelic, etc. music (original songs plus covers thrown in).  See ‘The Evan Furillo Project’ for more info.

I'm also a solo acoustic musician (playing out under my own name, Evan Furillo) and I play more melodic and vocal-focused music (a mix of original songs and covers).

I've currently released two albums: Shallow Blue Pond (2022), which is a blues cover album and Deep Blue Sea (2025), which is an album of original material.  See the ‘Music’ page for more info.

I'm also a part of an acoustic/banjo duo called The Deep Fog Drifters, who plays live bluegrass/country tunes, and I'm a guitarist/backup vocalist in John B. & The Seven Deadlies, who plays classic rock style music.  See the ‘Other Collaborations’ page for more info.
